Additional conditions for registering an
.info domain

Besides the General
Terms and Conditions of Business and Registration
it is also necessary for you to acknowledge
the following additional conditions for
domains below the Top Level Domain .info.
Please note that you can
use your browser's print function to print
out this document to read later or for your
files. You can also download them for later
printing.
The customer agrees that Afilias [www.afilias.com],
the registry of domains below the .info
TLD, and its employees and agents are entitled
to use, copy, publish or otherwise process
person-related data supplied by the customer
in order to perform its obligations under
the agreement. This does not affect the
provisions of article 10 of the General
Terms and Conditions of Business and Registration.
In addition to the agreement on the Uniform
Dispute Resolution Procedure under article
6 of the General Terms and Conditions of
Business and Registration, the customer
is obliged to comply with the requirements
set by Afilias registry for domains registered
during the so-called sunrise period. This
includes the Sunrise Dispute Resolution
Policy in its prevailing form which is an
essential requirement of Afilias registry.
The Sunrise Dispute Resolution Policy can
be found at www.afilias.info.
The customer is warned that Afilias registry
does not accept any liability for any disadvantages
during the sunrise period or landrush period.
Specifically, Afilias registry is liable
neither for the customer receiving a specific
domain during the above- mentioned procedure
nor for the outcome of any dispute over
a domain registered during the sunrise period.
EIS and the Afilias registry reserve the
right to refuse, delete or transfer registrations
at their discretion if necessary to maintain
orderly operation of the registry, comply
with statutory or official regulations,
on the instruction of a public prosecutor,
within the framework of the above regulations
or to avoid civil or criminal liability
of EIS or Afilias registry or their employees.
EIS and Afilias registry also reserve the
right to ?freeze? a .info domain during
current proceedings. |
